Moving Out..

December 31st will be our last day in our nice, spacious 3 bedroom apartment because we have decided to move. Of course it was not planned this way when we first got this place but as the months passed, living in this apartment has become overbearing and rather painful for us!

The constructions beside our building is just driving us nuts. They work all week long, no breaks unless it is a public holiday or when it rains cats and dogs, which does not happen very often and that means no chance of some peace and quiet for us.

They start at 6am, bright and early and end about 10pm! The hammering, sawing, jack hammering and knocking goes on the whole day but at intervals. Watching the television has been impossible as the loud noise from their equipment drowns out the sound completely from the TV. So most of the time, when we want to watch a good movie, we have to close up all the sliding glass doors and windows! Trust me, it feels like being in a cell after a while.

Sigh! I shall miss this place and the nice pool on the roof top. But, our new place will be even better than this as we will be on the 22nd floor and right at the top! Believe me, the view at our new place is breathtaking! But wait,...that part will come later!
